  • JAMES WALKER

    South Wales

GB Precision Rifle Association Team Member 2026

Having shot for Wales as a teenager, James is a relatively new competitor on the PRS circuit, with both class and category wins. Concentrating his efforts on the Limited Division which dictates using the venerable 308 Win cartridge, 2026 will see him compete for Team GB in Texas at the Precision Rifle World Championships.

When he's not shooting, James can be found walking his Red Fox Lab, Jeff, in Monmouthshire, filming for his YouTube Channel or working on his fitness.

  • ANDY SIMPSON-NIX

    Derbyshire | East Midlands

    Precision Rifle Competitor & Instructor

With over two decades of experience behind the rifle and shotgun, Andy is a leading figure in the UK Precision Rifle shooting scene.

As the founder of Precision Rifle Series UK and a Leupold Optics Pro Team Shooter, he has helped shape and elevate the sport nationwide. Following a successful qualification campaign, Andy currently holds the top spot as the UK’s highest-ranked Factory Class rifle shooter and has earned his place representing Team UK at the 2026 World Championships in Texas. When he’s not on the firing line or coaching others to sharpen their edge, Andy swaps rifles for lenses as a sports photographer, enjoys a round of golf, or spends quality time with his family.

  • TOM JACOBS

    South West

SWEFTA Benchrest Champion (2025) / UK No. 1 50m Unlimited Air Rifle (2025–2026)

Tom is the three-time 50m Unlimited Air Rifle record breaker and current record holder!

Tom has been competing on the Benchrest UK national circuit for the past seven years and has been fortunate to achieve success across multiple disciplines, earning national titles, No. 1 rankings, and setting new records along the way.

His passion for benchrest is driven by a constant desire to improve. He's always looking for ways to maximise his performance, whether that's refining his shooting technique, analysing every detail of his setup, or developing and testing equipment. He believes success comes from paying attention to the smallest details, and is always striving to push his performance to the next level.

  • STEVE CRUMP

    Yorkshire

    Yorkshire Airguns

Steve used to shoot many years ago using a BSA springer. Moving on 50 years or so, after watching a shooting video on YouTube, he decided to get another air rifle, and so it began. Around spring 2025, he set up his own YouTube channel to share his enthusiasm and progression as a newcomer to the hobby/sport. In a short time, he's done reviews, testing, and a series called "Benchrest on a Budget," plus many other things he never thought he would, including being part of a pro team for 3 Legged Thing.

The past 12–14 months have been fantastic, and he's learnt so much in this time, even a bit of pest control. Steve loves the precision side of airgun shooting and will be pursuing this going forward, indoors and out, hopefully. He's even got the use of a 50-yard indoor range and 100-yard outdoor range, so he feels extremely lucky to have this and be able to share it with his wife, who is more into the pest control side of things.

  • KEITH JONES

    West Midlands

    UKAHFT & BFTA "STICKS” SHOOTER

Keith is a “Sticks Shooter” using a tripod to shoot sub 12ftlb air rifles at both HFT (Hunter Field Target) and FT (Field Target) disciplines; shooting Metal Targets at ranges from 8 yards out to 55 Yards with “kill zones” from 15mm to 35mm.  He has also been known to “have a crack” at Benchrest! After arthritis started to take it’s toll on his wrists Keith took up “Sticks” 3 years ago.

Since then he has gone onto success both Regionally and Nationally in both HFT and FT shooting on “sticks”.  With the creation of Sticks class for 2026 he is now competing in the national British Field Target Grand Prix Series, actively encouraging others to take part and boost the numbers of the class.

He actively supports Sub 12 Air rifle shooting across all areas of the sport and, with his friend Phil, creates content about Air Rifle shooting with The Pellet and Target Podcast on YouTube and other platforms.
