1. General

These terms apply to all orders accepted by 3 Legged Thing Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you (“the customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. No other terms will apply unless agreed in writing. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Quotations

All quotations remain valid for 20 working days unless withdrawn earlier. Quotations are confidential and intended solely for the recipient.

3. Order Acceptance and Contract Formation

A contract is formed once we accept your order in writing or dispatch the goods. We reserve the right to decline any order.

4. Delivery

• Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays.
• Goods will be delivered to the address provided. Anyone accepting delivery at that address is deemed authorized.
• If delivery is unsuccessful, we may store or return the goods at your cost.
• Instalment deliveries form separate contracts.
• Delivery charges, taxes, and insurance are additional unless agreed otherwise.

5. Prices

All prices are exclusive of VAT, delivery, and other applicable charges unless stated otherwise. VAT will be added at the prevailing rate.

International customers purchasing from outside the United Kingdom will be invoiced in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise agreed. Applicable taxes, duties, and import charges remain the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

6. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due within 30 calendar days from the invoice date.

• Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the National Westminster Bank base rate, compounded daily.
• You are liable for all costs related to debt recovery.
• We reserve the right to amend or withdraw credit terms at our discretion.

7. Shortages, Damages & Loss

You must notify us of any shortages, damages, or discrepancies within 7 calendar days of delivery. Claims beyond this period may not be accepted.

8. Returns and Warranty

• Returns require a valid Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number.
• Faulty goods will be replaced or credited following inspection.
• Non-faulty returns may be subject to handling fees.
• Goods must be returned in original, unmarked packaging unless faulty.
• All products carry a minimum 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. 

9. Catalogues and Promotional Material

All product descriptions are for guidance only and do not form part of the contract. We strive for accuracy but accept no liability for errors.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control.

11. Insolvency or Default

We may cancel or suspend contracts immediately if you default on obligations, become insolvent, or are subject to legal insolvency proceedings.

12. Retention of Title

Ownership of goods remains with us until full payment is received. We reserve the right to recover goods if payment is overdue by more than 14 days.
It is company policy that unpaid debts exceeding our payment terms by 30 days will be referred to our credit insurers for collection, with all associated collection fees and charges payable by the customer.

13. Sustainability and Ethical Trading

We are committed to reducing environmental impact through sustainable practices and responsible sourcing. We encourage customers to recycle packaging and participate in our environmental efforts.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
