ALFIE Dedicated L-Bracket for Sony Alpha A7 IV & Other Models*
Description
Description
This dedicated L-bracket has been designed to perfectly fit the Sony Alpha A7 IV camera, and will also work** with the A7R V, A7 III, A7R III, A7R IV, A7S II, A7S III, A9 II and A1 camera bodies.
ALFIE is a standard 38mm Arca-Swiss compatible L-bracket and is made from aerospace-grade magnesium alloy. This L-bracket gives users access to the battery door and side ports on all cameras. The cut-out in the vertical aspect allows rear screens to be opened either upright or tilted, and Alfie also has two 1/4"-20 threads for attachment of accessories.
The base extends to enable tethering in portrait orientation and there will be a cable management tool included in the box to help support cables when plugged into the side of the camera. 3 Legged Thing have supplied a Peak Design v3 Capture compatible adapter in the box to allow users to use ALFIE with their v3 Capture clip.
**Other models may vary with access to screen movement and cable door access.
Manfrotto tripod owners: all of our L-brackets are standard 38 mm / 1.5" Arca-Swiss compatible. Manfrotto Arca-Swiss heads may have a lipped clamp that will prevent L-bracket use. Manfrotto RC2 plate heads are not compatible. Please check your head model before ordering.

ALFIE Dedicated L-Bracket for Sony Alpha A7 IV & Other Models*: The Features
What's in the box?
The Alfie Dedicated L-Bracket is a fantastic addition to my Sony Alpha setup. It fits the camera perfectly, with no play or twisting, and feels extremely solid despite being lightweight. The build quality is top-notch – exactly what you expect from 3 Legged Thing.
Switching between landscape and portrait orientation is fast and seamless, which is a huge advantage for both photography and video. I really appreciate that all ports, buttons, and the battery door remain fully accessible without removing the bracket – a small detail, but crucial in real-world use.
The Arca-Swiss compatibility works flawlessly with my tripod heads, and the grip remains comfortable even during longer shoots. It’s a well-designed, practical tool that genuinely improves workflow in the field.
For the price, this L-bracket offers excellent value and performance. Highly recommended for Sony Alpha shooters who want speed, stability, and a clean setup without compromises.
The ALFIE does a great job. It's small and light and does not get in the way - literally!
Does what it says on the tin.
Great Fit on my a7iv… All Ports and Battery perfect reachable. Quality as always on Point.
Fits perfectly, great quality.
Everything is totally accessible when the bracket is fitted to the camera, overall an excellent product, very high quality.
For your photographic requirements 3legged thing is a great company, you can buy with confidence
I'm going to be completely honest: I bought this while discounted because I wanted to check this brands quality before committing to something bigger and more expensive like a tripod.
Now I also own a 3LT tripod, so yeah, I was convinced about the machining quality. It does exactly what it should do, and it does it well.
Alfie is so comfortable I'm basically keeping it on my a7IV even when I go out without a tripod, because it looks stylish too, and I value that.
Use it for my a7r5 and does what it says on the tin. Perfect for what I use it for. Super fast delivery and easy ordering online.
LOVE 3 LEGGED THING! AMAZING!
Great item loving the orange goes with the orange on my Sony camera and tripod which I had of you
The bracket is excellent but it would be so much better if you didn't need a tool to attach and remove it. Also the supplied tool is very fiddly to use.
Great product. Great sevice.
The build quality of the Alfie L Bracket is exceptional. It fits my Sony A7Riii like a glove. The benefit of L Brackets is that you can shoot in portrait without moving the tripod/head. It also gives extra protection for the camera. A lot of thought has gone into this package. Excellent engineering and great accessories come with it such as a microfibre bag and multi tool. Well done Chickens! Stuart
absolutely love this brand! bracket came wicked fast, perfect addition to my camera
I've been purchasing items from 3 legged thing for years, because of their quality of production, design and support .
The Alfie yet again follows in the long line of great products by 3LT.
