As a single sling it isn’t very comfortable but as a doodling it works great. You have to change the buckles over but once you’ve got it sorted it works well the qd system works really well and quick. For when you need to take the camera off the sling and mount it on a tripod or hold it high or low it’s brilliant. The reassuring click so that you know the camera is secure makes life so much easier. Having owned other brands with different systems it makes event work so much better.

as a single sling it works well. I am barrel chested, even though I'm not overweight - 6'0" 215lbs, muscular build - and the strap, when worn under my armpit as intended, sits very tight.
When doubled as a dual Axis, this thing is nice. It slides on me, sot that the chest strap ends up choking me, when I am carrying the weight of only one camera (while using and hand-holding the other camera). But I think this problem is more due to my broad barrel chest build than poor product design. As a Dual sling, it is endlessly adjustable, so I hope I'm able to find an adjustment configuration that works to keep it from sliding up on me as I move with just one camera's weight on the harness.

Overall, the product is amazing. I just need to figure out how to configure it to best suit/fit my build.

Super happy with the Axis QD system overall and this sling in particular. I’ve switched the plate on my camera to the Peak Design compatible clip and basically that covers all my bases in terms of camera carry. Really good first impressions on this system and since getting the sling strap and being happy with it I’ve expanded to commit across the system.

Also just want to give a shout out to 3LT’s awesome customer service team who were really responsive to a few questions I had and have gone above and beyond to make my experience as a new customer for the brand a good one.

Spoiler I highly recommend this sling it's absolutely brilliant.

I have had and used several strap/slings from other brands (not the cheap ones )and they are either comfortable but too fiddly for my weakened hands or
easier to use but not perfect and extremely uncomfortable.

The AXIS Sling QD Camera Strap ticks all the right boxes.

1. It's extremely well made rugged and tough yet very comfortable with nice padding making a breeze to carry my 180-600mm zoom and also when used with 800mm prime.
2. Very easy to use and very quick to change from lens to lens or lens to camera and back even with my bad hands.

I finally have a sling that fits my needs perfectly.

Got this sling and have started using it. I find it give me confidence when I’m using my camera as I have it secured to me and I don’t have to worry about it falling.
It’s also very comfortable and I don’t have to put down my camera when I move around at sports grounds as my main interest is sports/football photography.

Does the job, QD is so much better than an Arca plate, but the shoulder pad and under arm strap could be better

Very well made sling strap and the addition of the quick detach (QD) system is the icing on the cake.

As soon as I saw the new Axis Sling strap advertised, I realised that it solved all of the inconveniences that come with a traditional strap. It also integrates perfectly with the 3LT L-brackets on my camera bodies. Like a lot of genius ideas, once you've seen it, it seems so obvious that you wonder why camera straps haven't always been like this!

An excellent product with amazing engineering in the camera connector, have used a dozen or so times since my purchase and would recommend the product. The only real flaw in the design is that the under arm loop is too tight and would benefit from either being capable of being altered to suite or be made with an elastic section.

The alternatives are good but this is great. Everything I wanted in a QD camera strap. I couldn't work without it.

The spiritual successor to the legendary Blackrapid QD slings, with an even better twist! Honestly get a QD now, it's THE future!

got my axis sling this week tried it out today and I must say carrying my canon 90d plus battery pack and my sigma 150-600 lens was made so easy and comfortable I would recommend the axis sling to anyone.

I do like the sling and the clip system is easy and secure . The only thing I may suggest is that the under arm piece could be a little longer for using over a thick jacket .

The QD system is simple and very strong in that it can take, according to what I have read, up to about 200 Kg so there is no fear of the camera coming off. I nearly lost an R5 into the River Severn when it came off my old system, The QD system is apparently used my various militaries as an easy way to attack their kit to their webbing.
The staps are super strong and silky to touch making the it smooth to lift the camera while the shoulder pad is very comfortable.
My only minor criticism is that I would like to have seen a small loop on the shoulder pad to hang my Toolz2 but that is not the end of the world.

Really like the design. Would love of they took some design elements from th legacy carryspeed pro allow rapid resizing of the strap length between shooting and walking mode.
