Quick Release Lever Clamps

I’m actually quite surprised by the high rating of this product. I’ve handled a lot of photography equipment, and I don’t find this product particularly sturdy. I wouldn’t recommend it. Especially not for heavy lenses. I also don’t have much confidence in its durability.

Love this product on a ball head, I like the quick and sure link to the plate, it saves my fingers, just as I was hoping.

I replaced the screw clamp of my Airhed Neo 2 on my beloved Punks Billy 2 to make it even better. It was a joy to use before and it's now brilliant!

I bought this clamp, to make my Gitzo table tripod compatible with arca swiss couplings. The clamp is perfectly fine for this purpose. Because it is adjustable to the plates, that may have some tolerances to the arca swiss standard depending of the manufacturer, the tolerances are unproblematic.
The lever has some play around the axis, but this it nothing, you have to be concerned about. The locking mechanism prevents from accidently loosening the clamp.
Overal a great addition to my tripod.

These clamps are very effective, despite their small size and lightness: compared to the mounting system I have replaced.
I appreciate the lever quick release, which when open, allows for placing the QR plate 'in' from above, then a simple swing of the lever through 180 degrees firmly holds the camera in place.

My tiny nit-pick is that the mini-toolz has 2.5 and 4mm hex keys, so a dedicated 3mm hex key was also included to adjust the lever for different Arca-Swiss 'standard' plates.

I use this on top of the levelling base, its so easy to use and so quick to put your camera on and off especially when the weather is against you and you need to pack up quickly. Perfect accessory to you tripod.

I bought my first one to try it and liked it so much I've bought three altogether. One each for my two 3LT tripods plus one for my Alan monopod. I love 'em.

I purchased this to use with the Alan monopod, it is very well made and is ideal for my use

I originally bought this clamp to use on a new Alan 2.0 Monopod but now using it on my Legends Bucky tripod which right now is getting more use than the monopod. The clamp is really well made, looks good but most importantly helps setting up greatly. It's so impressive I doubt it'll be long before I buy another one for the monopod.

Its 3 Legged so you know it will be very well engineered. Its solid and works well. It's just that bit faster than the Twist Clamp. It also works on the Levelling base which the twist clamp doesn't. Get both if you can but choose the lever Clamp if you only want one.
