Description

XPAND is a Patented, modular rig-building ecosystem designed for content creators and videographers. Created by 3 Legged Thing XPAND is for users who need customisable, robust, and adaptable support solutions.

XPAND Cheese Plates are formed from aerospace-grade magnesium alloy. Each plate is precision engineered with multiple ¼”-20 threaded holes. Each side includes a triple-axis XPAND slot which enables plates and risers to be joined securely and intuitively using XPAND Connectors. Larger plates have two XPAND slots on the long sides for extra stability. They also include QD sockets for compatibility with 3LT's AXIS Camera Strap System. Square Cheese Plates feature a 3/8"-16 thread in the centre, and the rectangular plates include Arri slots with locator pins.

This allows users to combine XPAND components to build a bespoke rig for their camera set up with access to all relevant ports, and the ability to attach a variety of accessories.
