The British tripod wizards are back, and this time, they’ve miniaturized the magic.
If you thought 3 Legged Thing only made tripods, think again. Enter Monty - a trio of ultra-compact, wildly versatile mounts designed for photographers, videographers, and anyone who insists on attaching gadgets to other gadgets. Whether you're rigging up a camera monitor, LED light, microphone, action camera, or even a spotting scope, Monty's got you covered. It's small, it's mighty, and frankly, it might just replace half the junk in your kit bag.
Because let's be honest - nobody enjoys wrestling with cheap, fiddly mounts that flop around like a fish out of water. So, we fixed that.
Three Models, Infinite Possibilities
Each Monty model brings a different flavour of functionality to the table. Choose your weapon wisely:

Monty 1 – The Coldshoe Commander
A compact pan-and-tilt mounting device with a ¼”-20 thread on top, plus a base that offers hot / coldshoe fitting or a ¼”-20 thread. The 360˚ rotation makes panning smoother than your best pickup line, and the ratchet-controlled tilt keeps your gear exactly where you left it. No sag, no stress.

Monty 2 – The Picatinny Powerhouse
Because sometimes, you need to clamp things properly. Monty 2 features a ¼”-20 thread and spring-loaded locator pin on top, but the real magic is in its lever clamp base, which locks onto standard 20mm Picatinny rails with rock-solid security. The 360˚ rotation and ratchet-controlled tilt mean quick, easy adjustments—so you can spend less time fiddling and more time creating.

Monty 3 – The Ultimate Hybrid
Can’t decide? Have it all. Monty 3 is the Swiss Army Knife of the range, combining the coldshoe / ¼”-20 base from Monty 1 with a removable Picatinny lever clamp for maximum adaptability. Throw in a 70mm Picatinny rail for even more mounting options, and you’ve got yourself the ultimate modular setup. Oh, and did we mention it rotates 360˚ and features a lever-free bump stop tilt mechanism for instant, frustration-free positioning? Thought so.
