Description

Double Duty…

Docz provides extra stability to monopods, and can also be used as a mini tripod by mounting a camera directly onto its 1/4“-20 screw mount.

Versatile

With a 1/4“-20 screw mount, and a 3/8“-16 adapter supplied, Docz can be used with a huge variety of monopods and tripods with detachable monopod legs.

Rugged

Docz is made from strong alloys with a robust ABS covering and grippy rubber feet; suitable for use on a wide variety of terrains.

Transportable

With legs that fold upwards for transportation, Docz is an alternative to mini tripods - small enough to fit into the corner of a camera bag, yet strong enough to support cameras up to 20 kg / 44 lb.

Specifications

  • Max height
    8.5 cm / 3.35 "
  • Folded length
    16.5 cm / 6.5 "
  • Load capability
    20 kg / 44 lb
  • Diameter
    29.5 cm / 11.6 "
  • Threads
    Dual 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16
  • Weight
    532 g / 1.17 lb

The Features:

Dual Threads

Docz features both 1/4“-20 and 3/8“-16 thread mounts. With these industry standard sizes, Docz is compatible with a wide range of monopods and cameras.

Heavy Loads

Thanks to Docz’ rugged alloy construction, it can support camera and lens combos up to 20 kg / 44 lb - more than most standard mini tripods.

Adjustable

The anodised alloy ball can be adjusted by loosening the rubber foot on the underside of Docz, allowing users to get the angle they need.

Flex In-Capacitor

Unlike conventional foot spreaders, Docz has a single boot on the underside, preventing the unit from flexing when pressure is applied.

Smooth Operator

With a ball machined from aircraft-grade magnesium alloy, your monopod can be angled smoothly, without juddering or variable grip.

Locked Up

With an adjustable drag, Docz can be tensioned to suit, or the dual lock at the top can stop all movement.

As usual, 3LT delivers again! This foot is awesome! Folds down small and is stable as can be. Works well with my monopod and as a tabletop tripod.

Fantastic design and engineering.

So well made, beyond sturdy. I'm sure it's great with a monopod, but I use mine as a tabletop tripod, or a light stand as my LED can mount on it directly. It comes into its own with an Airhed Mini to make a great low-level tripod for macro.

Quality, as ever!

Solid build (like a tank) and replacing my regular Punks Brian a.t.m. - but make sure you get the short column to go with it. Super versatile quality bit of kit, just what you'd expect from 3LT

Fantastic bit of kit

Bought this as a mini tripod for when I want to get down really low. Fits perfectly in my camera bag along with the Airhed Pro

Sturdy and adaptable

Extremely well made. It's a solid and weighty item. I've actually used it more as a desktop tripod than a monopod foot, but it works brilliantly in both guises.

Rock Solid ( seriously )

I am a toy photographer and shoot at pretty much ground level most of the time. My old Gorilla Pod had a set of legs like Bambi nowadays ( well 3 of them ) and I need something to keep my D810 and Sigma 105mm from sagging.

I heard about these from browsing in general and I kid you not, this DocZ is absolutely solid.

I reckon I could hang off it and it would still not move.
Super portable and such a joy to use. It looks great too.

Yes it's designed for Mono's but there's no rules when it comes photography.

An amazing bit of kit and highly recommended fo sho.

5 golden stars for you guys. Well done.

Multi-Purpose Perfection

Bought this originally for a monopod. Quickly realised it was perfect for use with a ball-head as a tabletop tripod. Excellent design, functionality and build.

Brilliant multi use foot.

I got this to use with my monopod and its fantastic for making your monopod very stable.
But its great for using on its own for low down photography, put your AirHed on and its amazing.
Two in one piece of kit... Brilliant...

solid and perfect for the job

When i opened the package i was surprised at how solid and well constructed it was. Its built like a tank but a lot lot lighter! It is easy to open and set up and provides a perfect support base for your monopod. I also think i will try to see if it will take a small ball head to use for some tabletop macro.
As always with 3 legged thing it is quality construction and worth every penny

Great little item

Got this alongside the wraith messenger camera bag, it has a good amount of weight to it, well made, and was ideal for my needs and for macro photography

Solid. No nonsense.

Works well with the Stubz as a tabletop tripod with my Z8 and 105 Z Macro lens.

An excellent monopod companion!

As others have said, the Docz2 is surprisingly well-built, and when combined with a monopod makes for a very sturdy base even when heavy body/lens combinations are used. It also makes for an excellent tabletop tripod, which I've found useful for macro work or shooting subjects from down low or up high when used with a ball head to allow for further adjustment.

Good!

This product can be used for monopod stabilization, but for your DLSR too. I use it most of the time to do a small movie by staying it on a table during the time I'm shooting with another DSLR on the tripod.

Solid, not too heavy

A well-made product, which collapses down into something that fits neatly into my backpack. Also works as a single height desktop tripod. Despite being metal (a good thing!) it's not too heavy.

Quality

This was way better made than I expected, I was kind of expecting a mainly plastic construction but this is extremely well thought-out & made. Folds down neatly and can be stashed in a backpack pocket.
