Jason combines a larger canopy with our interchangeable Modular Tactical Tripod System legs, providing a wider, stable platform for bigger equipment while still giving you the freedom to change your tripod configuration when your needs change.

5-section Jason gives you the smallest folded size for travel and carrying into the field.

4-section Jason strikes a balance between folded size, working height, and stability for a versatile all-round setup.

3-section Jason combines larger diameter leg tubes with fewer sections for maximum working height and stability.

Each configuration uses eight-layer premium 3K weave carbon fibre legs with oversized Helical Strake-style leg locks. Easy to grip for optimum leverage, the locks are designed to channel airflow downwards to help root your tripod and dampen unwanted vibrations. With support for equipment weighing up to 40 kg / 88 lb, Jason is at home supporting cameras, larger lenses, video equipment, optics, and supported shooting setups.

The larger Jason canopy provides plenty of room for compatible tripod heads, clamps, and mounts, including larger options such as the 72 mm AirHed Orbit and AirHed Cine CC or 3LT’s range of shooting saddles. Its mounting plate features a 3/8"-16 thread, and the canopy integrates a bubble level, 1/4"-20 accessory socket, while an integrated QD socket provides a connection point for compatible QD straps and accessories.

Remove one leg to use Jason as a bipod. Use the single leg as a monopod, or boom arm for lights or mics. Remove all three legs, add Spikez or Flatz (sold separately) for use as a tabletop tripod.

Swap between 3, 4, and 5-section leg sets, change your tripod footwear for different terrain to make Jason work the way you need it to, or swap to a James canopy when you need a slimmer profile for travel.
