The award-winning British tripod maker has created a new single-piece, dedicated L-bracket designed specifically for a variety of Sony Alpha A7, A9 and A1 cameras.
Following on from the success of their Alfie multi-piece L-bracket, 3 Legged Thing has announced a new Arca-Swiss compatible L-bracket for Sony Alpha cameras. Arnie works with a variety of recent Sony cameras, including the A7 IV, A7R V, A7R IV, A7R III, A7S III, A7S II, A9 II, and A1.
The Arnie L-bracket is precision-engineered from a single block of aerospace-grade magnesium alloy. This construction gives it excellent rigidity. 3 Legged Thing then anodises it in their two signature L-bracket colours: Copper, and Darkness (matte black).
Arnie's base features an integral QD (quick detach) port, for use with QD accessories. It also has a slot to attach camera straps, plus two 3/8"-16 screw threads with ¼â€-20 adapters, for the attachment of accessory arms. The front of the L-bracket has a contoured lip, to perfectly form around the base of the camera.

The side aspect includes a cut-out at the top for the camera strap lug, and one on the side for easier cable management when tethering.
Like many of 3 Legged Thing's dedicated L-brackets, Arnie is also compatible with the Peak Design Capture clip system. The L-bracket comes with a robust glass-reinforced nylon adapter.

Arnie is available now, priced £89.99 / US$99.99 from 3LeggedThing.com, as well as online and in-stores from all good camera retailers. To find your nearest, visit www.3leggedthing.com/where-to-buy.
