I bought this ball head last year and its been absolutely spot on. Easy to manoeuvre and light but really well built.

The first time I took it out to use I dropped the whole tripod ball head down on concrete and slightly chipped it which I was a bit gutted about but it proved how hardwearing and solid it was.

I'd definitely buy another in future.

I got mine with my beloved Punks Billy 2. I've since enhanced it with a lever clamp. It's a smooth and easy, but very sturdy tripod head. Brilliant!

After much pecking around I laid my eyes on this ball-head. There were so many to choose from, so many manufacturers that it was overwhelming. But, I chickened out of buying a.n. other brand when I saw this.
It might not be the most expensive on the street but that doesn't bother me. It is beautifully engineered, goes well with my tripod - sorry not a 3LT one I'm afraid, is easy to use and doesn't weigh a ton. It goes well with my newly purchased Ellie L-bracket.
I wish I'd have heard of 3LT sooner. What's more I'm supporting a British company.

I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly this ball head operated and by how strong it is, even though it is the lightest-duty one by 3LT.

I have paired this with a punks Brian tripod and I have shot everything from forest fungi to astro landscapes. The head is easy to adjust and secure enough to cope with my camera and reasonably long lens. I haven't found a shot yet that I can't get head into position for.

Probably all the tripod head most people need. Confidently handles a medium sized mirror less camera and pans well.

This head is a great balance of size/weight and strength. I am a landscape, nature, astro, macro photographer so my use cases are varied day to day. Size, weight and functionality are paramount in what I decide bring into the field. And this "Swiss Army Knife" of a head is always in my bag!!

The AirHed Neo 2 has been there time and time again when my bigger heads are in use or I need to assemble custom pan/tilt kits to get "the shot".
I even used it over the weekend on an Air & Sea show supporting a 600mm lens on a P/T arm. No problem!!
