PUNKS Travis 2.0 Stativsystem

I bought Travis 2.0 as a more convenient travel option than my main Winston tripod for a trip to northern Norway. Fortunately I had excellent views of the Northern Lights which Travis enabled me to photograph, proving to be very stable for long exposures in windy conditions and extreme cold temperatures. All-in-all, Travis is an excellent all rounder tripod which is robust and compact enough for travel use.

Pactical, good price, quick and easy to set up for use, and certainly robust. Coming up to two years since I bought Travis and it makes me wonder why I persevered with cheaper products before that. Carry bag is starting to wear but Travis himself still looks great!

Compact and sturdy, holds a spotting scope most of the time and stands up to being battered in the weather. Been deployed for filming gigs and being able thread around cymbal stands and the like keeps it a valuable investment.

Great versatile tripod at a good price

Great quality, very sturdy but lightweight, the legs and ball head are easy to adjust, and it looks amazing too! The bag is also great. I'm so glad I found 3 Legged Thing!

I prefer: The pepper yes it is small but it is poweful, by the way I am more than satisfied with this product.

I saw a review on YT for the Punks range and I'd been looking for a more sturdy tripod than my current one, primarily because I have a 600mm lens which was never steady.

I emailed customer service who replied almost instantly, giving loads of information and their recommendation. Excellent start.

The tripod arrived a couple of days before leaving for a couple of days in away and I didn't get a chance to look at the tripod before we left so the first use was while standing by quite a busy road, on a narrow footpath, at dusk, in the middle of Paris. Not ideal.

However. From taking it out of the bag, to setting it up, swapping out the plate, getting the lens and camera installed it was very simple and intuitive. More excellent progress.

There was a little drop with the weight of the lens which I figured out how to minimise, there's probably something I'm not doing correctly but it's a minor issue. I had the camera on a 10 second delay and any shake visible from the horizon line was gone after 2-3 seconds so all the shots are sharp.

Folding it all up again was simple and it tucked away neatly in the bag.

I'll get to use it again in the next couple of weeks where I'll hopefully have a bit more time (and light!) to see what's going on but from initial contact through to packing up, I'm extremely impressed with the whole 3 Legged Thing setup. Thanks everyone

This is a very durable and versitle travel tripod. It's extremely well built and I've been using it for years now without any issues.

I love this Tripod. I'm a nature and wildlife photographer, and this suits every possible need. Great for landscapes, the detachable monopods are fantastic for wildlife, and removing all three legs gives an excellent advantage for hard reach vantage points.

originally, i was looking into getting myself a monopod and head, but when i saw this tripod as a kit, with the head and saw that the legs can be used a monopods also, i knew i had hit the jackpot, as i was going to get a tripod at a later date... this has ticked the boxes for me and then some, it has nice weight to it, nice feel and nice looks, and i like that it comes with a little tool, bag and a few stickers!

Having previously bought a Monopod which I was so pleased with I did not hesitate in buying my Tripod from 3LT. Yet again another great product. Well built,strong and I know my camera is safe attached to this tripod and the tripod looks really good

As soon as you open the box you can see the quality before you, an excellent well made tripod and the head is also well engineered, lightweight and easy to carry around due to its size, a great purchase.

Great bit of kit,been using it with eos r10 / 70-300 zoom rock steady even in windy Scoland. Just need to get a quick release & base pale for lens bracket jobs good. Well done chickens.

I bought the Travis 2.0 as an upgrade from a lower end Manfrotto that I had been using. The construction and functionality of the tripod was well designed resulting in a versatile tripod that exceeded my hopes. The tripods versatility, ease of use, and awesome design make it effective, stylish, and a great system for the cost. 3 Legged Thing clearly has my respect and business!
