Depending on the size and weight of the product, we will ship your parcel via Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed For, or UPS for larger or heavier items.

Orders over $400 qualify for free shipping.

We dispatch parcels same day Monday to Friday for orders placed before 12 noon.

You will be responsible for paying any customs or import fees your country may charge. We declare the cost, weight and description of the contents to our courier at the time of dispatch and submit our customs data electronically to aid customs clearance.

Description

Stubz has been created following feedback from customers. Made from aerospace-grade magnesium alloy, the short replacement column is for tripod users who prefer not to use their centre column, but may need a little extra height from time to time.

It's a great travel companion, as it can be used with some of our other products like the Docz2 foot stabiliser, Levelling Base accessory, or our Mike and Jay levelling base tripods.

Stubz is only 10cm long, enabling transport in hand/cabin luggage and other smaller bags.

Short Column

If you are someone looking to do a lot of long exposures and would rather have little or no column, Stubz is a great replacement column for this purpose.

Extra Height

Needing that extra bit of height on your tripod or monopod? Stubz can add that little extra height needed and has a 3/8"-16 thread at the base so you can attach this shorted column to most tripod legs.

Brilliant for low-level work on the tripod.

I replace the centre column in my Punks Billy 2 when doing low-level outdoor macro. It's so well made and a joy to use. It works brilliantly with Docz as a tabletop, too!!

Can't praise 3LT enough

I picked up a secondhand 3LT Billy CF tripod recently.
There was a fault with the centre column but I didn't mind that. I knew the warranty wouldn't cover it as it clearly states its for first owner only.
The support agent (Neil) organised the replacement parts for me, but said there was no charge.
I purchased the Stubz column to allow me to get down to ground level for the macro work and as expected it smashes it. Its a really solid well thought out system and gives great peace of mind when hanging a few grand worth of kit off it.
I wholeheartedly recommend 3LT to any of my friends.

Using this on Bucky means I can get my tripod down almost to ground level without having to invert the centre column and shoot upside down.

Very handy

I wanted to get a short center column to be used with Ray, to make it easier to work close to the ground.
Perfect for that. And it came with double ended bolt, which was not mentioned in the description.
