This L Bracket is extremely well made and precisely engineered for the OM-1 series digital cameras. It’s a perfect fit and exactly as described by the manufacturer. Highly recommended

Couple design issues i found - very awkward to fit the bracket with the triangular strap ring in place. The gap in the side of the bracket means theres not a lot of metal to fit into the jaws of a clamp. The articulated screen is a bit restricted.

Ive always wondered if theres a way to design away from an l shape to something that cages the front and provides an arca plate on the sude that can get away from these issues?

Bought the gold version at a reduced price. Fits perfectly on my OM-1 mkii, very solid fixing. Build quality is excellent. It is very light weight. Only drawback is slightly restricts the display movement but not by much, the speed and ease of changing to portrait outweighs the restricted display movement. Fully recommend.

Fits like it was made for the OM-1. Because, well, it is. Very strong and a great way to secure to a tripod in vertical or horizontal. Access to the flip screen takes a moment to figure out and then it is seamless.

Superb service for a hunk of finely machined metal that allows me to mount my camera to a tripod in, wait for it, TWO POSITIONS!! Simply remarkable! Easy to purchase. Delivered quickly. Even got it in Orange when I ordered black. How did the know I would like the orange better?? If anyone else needs a chunk of cool orange aluminum to accent their OM Camera, I wouid DEFINITELY recomment this! From one 3 legged thing to another.

Received today and everything as expected. The only thing of note is you won't be able to connect a right-angled usb-c connector easily. A straight connector should work fine.

Look if you enjoy your photography, and in this case, your landscape photography then you'll know (or should) that an L bracket is pretty much essential in your arsenal. And if you want quality, something that does the job well, fits absolutely perfectly, comes with a no quibble return then you should also know 3 Legged Thing are where you go to get it!
This fits easily and there's no problem accessing battery / cards / ports at all! Feels very secure in both portrait and landscape orientation in my arca swiss ballhead, no concerns about stability or security. It does exactly what it should and it does it well.
If you want cheap, go cheap, there's that auction site (good luck) but you'll forever be moaning about poor fit and quality. Buy right, buy once, buy 3LT!

Great L-Bracket for the OM-1 Mark II. Works well and allows me to mount my camera with absolutely no issue. Definitely worth the cost.

A perfect L-Bracket that fits very well with my Olympus omd - em1 Mark III. We can change batteries without removing the L-Bracket. Very Well constructed i made my choice on the balck one.

La placa esta muy bien echa, buen material, buenos acabados......pero para que fuese increible yo le pondria marcas para saber donde queda el centro cuando lo pones en el tripode y le añadiria un hueco arriba en la parte vertical como la que tiene en la parte horizontal para poder atar las evillas de las correas de peak desing y asi la camara quedaria apoyada a tu cuerpo con el objetivo mirando hacia abajo.

I'm overall please with Ollie apart from 1 thing and that it the hex screws on the bottom protrude to gar to for my Benro heads (gear and ball), they stick out too far into the insets (ArcaSwiss style) to allow Ollie to fit. I have had to remove one of the screws ( the inbound screw) and it now fits very well.

On fitting the bracket to the OM 1, on the camera base there are four very small pads at the corners. The bracket fits over two of them causing the bracket to not fit square on the camera. I overcame this by putting a very thin piece of rubber between the camera base and the bracket. I suggest adding a rubber pad to the base, which I notice some other manufacturers of L brackets do for other cameras.

This bracket is extremely well made and fits like a glove. It is also significantly less expensive than the one from Really Right Stuff. One criticism I have seen of the RRS plate is that the portion on the plate under the grip is very uncomfortable; the Ollie avoids this by not extending to that side of the camera. Well done! My only quibble is that there should be a marking for the center line on the back of the plate to aid in centering it on the clamp on which you mount it. This is a critical requirement when mounting your camera in a panoramic head. If you do not have it centered properly, you will likely have difficulty stitching the panorama. The lack of the center mark made it very difficult to eyeball and guestimate having it centered properly. I will note that the L-plate from RRS DOES have this mark. Adding that to the plate would make this item a home run.

I bought this to replace a generic Ellie L-bracket. The Ellie relies on tightening its screw to stay on, and kept coming loose and rotating. Its vertical section can be a bit bendy if you extend it away from the camera too far.

The dedicated Ollie L-bracket has none of these problems. It's mechanically stronger and stays put. Getting it used for a 33% discount was a plus, but I would have bought it anyway.
