The award-winning British tripod maker has unveiled a new version of its popular dedicated Roxie L-bracket, designed specifically for Canon R5, R5C, R6 & R6 Mk II cameras.
This latest iteration, named Roxie QD, keeps the precise fit across each of the four camera models listed, while introducing QD (quick detach) compatibility. The L-bracket now features an integrated QD socket in the base, allowing for seamless attachment of QD straps and accessories.

"Roxie has been incredibly popular since the original release of the Canon R5 & R6, and so it's time for a refresh," said Alison Barclay, 3 Legged Thing's Head of Marketing. "One of our customers' most-requested features was compatibility with the Peak Design Capture clip, so we're delighted to add this with the new Roxie QD L-bracket. Plus we've added a QD socket that enables use with the growing range of quick detach accessories and straps."
Peak Design Capture clip (v3) compatibility is added using a robust glass-reinforced nylon adapter and a durable, long, stainless steel camera screw, which are supplied with the L-bracket. This marks the first dedicated Capture-compatible L-bracket for these camera models.
As with the previous L-bracket version, Roxie QD ensures full access to battery doors and side ports. Its base includes a locator pin and custom front-side shaping to prevent unwanted twisting on the camera. The base also incorporates a strap attachment slot at one end.

For enhanced versatility, two ¼â€-20 threaded holes, integrated in the upright, are perfect for attaching accessories like 3LT's Pivot magic arms. A cut-out in the upright allows the rear screen to be opened and tilted. Both the base and upright also feature security pins, providing extra peace of mind when attaching to a tripod.
Constructed from aerospace-grade magnesium alloy with stainless steel fixings, Roxie QD is beautifully anodised in 3LT's signature L-bracket colours; Copper, and Darkness (matte black).
With a suggested retail price of £89.99 / US $99.99, Roxie QD is available now from 3LeggedThing.com and all good camera retailers. Find your nearest stockists at 3LeggedThing.com/where-to-buy.
