Excellent quality and supports my heavy zoom lenses perfectly.

Everything is perfect, except for one thing that makes it really annoying to use. When I change lenses, I have to use the included tool to readjust it; otherwise, it doesn't hold securely or close properly. This is a major flaw for me.

I have bought a couple of these and have one my 3LT monopod and on my travel Corey tripod.

They are smooth to adjust and hold the camera/lens combo well, I’m thinking of getting a third to fit to another larger/heavier tripod I use for landscape photography

Beautifully crafted and finished. The action is reassuring and smooth with just the right amount of feedback for quick accurate adjustments.
The clamp holds firm and locks securely without being aggressively tight and the head rotation glides freely with a well balanced degree of friction.

Looking at other heads on the internet - it came down to the main considerations: I actually preferred a 3 axis head for independent 3 axis panning, but the nature of (generally) cantilevered 3 axis heads meant these do not support a heavy load and build a fracture into the assembly: so the answer for my heavy rig - the 3LT pro lever ball head - Strong and light and great price - Again - THANKS 3LT

Honestly, it's the best ball-head I've ever owned the design is beautiful, the head is very smooth and well machined. The finish is absolutely gorgeous. The level bubbles are nice and subtle (as well as the overall size and shape being subtle as well). The quick lever makes it so easy to switch from landscape to portrait without losing my framing. I have this paired with their L-bracket for a beautiful combo. Their quality is bar none and I would highly recommend them to anyone I come across.

A simple allen key adjustment and this head is ready to use. I've wanted a quick release lever head for a long time and this one is perfect for transitioning quickly on and off camera. The folks at 3 legged thing have been great to work with too!
