3 Detachable Legs

Moss / Tripod + AirHed Neo 2.0 (Ball Head)

I’m new to the world of tripods but I recognise something that’s beautifully engineered and this certainly is.
As a bird watcher (on the move by cycle) my requirements are to support a lightweight scope, small enough to pack in a rucksack and to convert to a monopod. This ticks all the boxes. Very pleased with my purchase.

Very versatile tripod. I’m able to swap out heads for video/stills use and the whole thing is very light and compact. Would highly recommend.

I spent a long, long time studying the whole range of 3LT Tripods before going for the Brian 2.0 and I am not disappointed. It is a perfect all round tripod and even monopod, so has taken the place of three pieces of kit, one of which I have already sold.

It is solid, light and so versatile, it will no doubt be with me on top of some Munroes this summer!

I complemented it with the Airhead Trinity video head for those occasions when that suits more than the ball head.

The carry case is comfortable to carry and the handy tool clips to the tripod so as not to get lost.

I’m so glad I purchased this tripod. The head is great and locks the camera in the position you want without moving afterwards.i have had no issues with stability using a 5dm3 and a 100-400L IS in high wind.If you ask me, it’s the perfect travel tripod for me.

After a large degree of research for a travel tripod that was light but robust and versatile, I opted for the Punks Brian 2.0.
Other reviewers were extremely complimentary about its strength, lightness and high specification list.
They were not wrong, and I am delighted by how it has performed whilst using both a MFT and Full Frame camera system.
I initially spent about 30 minutes assembling and re-assembling the legs and central column into the various available configurations, and this proved a lot easier than I had first anticipated.
This is a quality product that I would highly recommend, and I am looking forward to many years of use.

Great piece of kit.

I had decided what tripod I was buying based on price mostly but also height, I'm not tall so wasn't buying tall.
Then I got a tax refund, during a sale.
So I bought Brian instead.
So glad I did as I can now use my large 20x80 binoculars to look at the stars without having to get into awkward positions or strain my neck.
So far have used it for both photography and binoculars.
Solid construction, small for packing, easy to use, and the amount of adjustability is amazing.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new tripod.

WoW!

Straight out of the box this product just oozes quality! After carefully reviewing the specs for all the tripods I narrowed my choice down to the Punks Brian, I am NOT disappointed!
Would thoroughly recommend Punks Brian, the only downside is that there is SO MUCH CHOICE you have to do your homework to find the product that's right for you..... but then again, that's half the fun! :)

Very happy with my new Brian

I have been a 3LT user for many years, of an Original Brian tripod, I was recently devastated to lose him, by leaving him in the city one night. So, purchasing Brian 2.0 seemed the obvious thing to do. Very happy with the service on the new purchase, delivered in days from the UK to Australia.

Brian 2.0 is very new to me, but super impressed with the feel of the new tripod, love 3LT engineering and sleek design.

Sorted!

I've been looking for a tripod for a while that covered everything I wanted - completely unrealistically! However after a lot of research I decided on Brian and omg he totally rocks! Decent weight for travel, folds down into a small enough size, is robust and has all the gizmo's to alllow me to do the sensible stuff plus twirl the camera wherever I want! The sensible stuff - is nicely weighted and stable and can take my mirrorless Sony DSLR plus additional lenses without issue. The additional height really helps so I don't get a cricked neck and ability to flip for low level is excellent. Everything feels really well made and the accessories and case are excellent quality.
Plus of course Brian is super cool and I think we are going to be very happy together!

Sturdy and lightweight

I was looking for a tripod that could function in a variety of environments - from urban street photography to landscape/nature photography. I wanted something affordable, well built, and light enough to not become a burden while on the move.

I found just what I was looking for in PUNKS Brian 2.0. And what is even more pleasing about 3leggedthings tripods, there color design is spot on. Nothing gaudy. Just distinct and fashionable colors to add life to one's photography life.

Nice!

I retired and wanted to turn my interest in photography into a true hobby. So, I bought a Nikon Z5 with the 24-200mm lens. It was BIG deal for a person who just retired!!! I wanted a tripod to keep my expensive camera safe while in the woods or on my deck. At first, I was hesitant to spend the money. However, the Brian is worth every penny, and I am tickled with how EASY it was to learn to use all the features. The Brian is sturdy!!! I have no anxiety about the safety of my camera or the stability of the Brian. I love the orange. It is a great color, makes it easy to see right where I need to make adjustments, and the rings are large and easy to grasp. As a beginner, this is my first tripod. I was happy to see the little leveling bobbles! The important details were added to the Brian making it a nice choice for me. My interest is wildlife photography, especially birds. I am confident that the Brian will work well in the woods come spring.

Excellent travel tripod.

After buying a Winston tripod i really needed a smaller tripod for travelling abroad, after reading about this tripod i decided to buy one and i was not disappointed, it fits in my normal luggage and its been to Spain with me 3 times and its surprising how sturdy this little tripod is.

Perfect!

I bought this wonderful carbon fibre delight back in 2019 as I needed a full size tripod that was good to travel with for a trip to Chernobyl - Brian performed perfect on that trip and has recently been to Budapest, Warsaw, Krakow and Prague all in my carry-on case! He'd fit fine in my carry in the ready to go setup but for extra space for necessities like clothes I take the monopod leg off, the column out and the head off, gives a little space which is never a bad thing.

As tripods go I can't complain about this fella at all in the slightest. He lives in the boot of my car and is already ready to rock!

If I - heaven forbid lost the little blighter, I wouldn't hesitate in getting the same again!

Amazing Growth

I wanted a tripod that was compact enough for travel but being 6' 7" it also needed to expand so I could use it without folding myself up. Brian does not disappoint, it opens to the same height as my old Manfrotto tripod that is twice the length when collapsed. I've gone from a tripod that went across the corners of a suitcase to one that fits in my smaller camera bag with the zip closed! I was somewhat concerned about having all the twist locks to operate during setup, but have been pleasantly surprised by how quickly you get used to that and I don't notice that I'm any slower setting up than others around me. I have had Brian for about 6 weeks and he's had a workout during that time, from fungi to astro he's proved flexible and stable enough for it all. Plus I no longer feel like a troll of to war with a 'club' of a tripod!

Excellent Tripod

Love my Brian quick and easy to set up and holds my camera rock solid. The tripod now lives in my car so I've always got it with me.

The perfect landscape photography tripod

I bought Brian for a couple of reasons. Firstly, i wanted to get a tripod that was taller than the one I have. Being 6ft5, the double extending centre column really interested me... and it has not disappointed! When fully extending, the camera is higher than me.
The other reason was I wanted something that felt stury but light. While my previous tripod was carbon fibre and lighter than Brian, the stability (along with the extra height) was worth the bit of extra weight but it's still light and feels solid.

This is an awesome tripod and highly recommend by me!

So far I love this tripod

I was introduced to 3LeggedThing through Paul Thomson and Tom Peters. After reading some reviews and purchasing one of the tripod heads I went ahead and purchased the Punks Brian tripod. I've only used it several times, but so far it easily is preferred over the Manfrotto I had purchased in the past. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a sturdy, somewhat lightweight tripod.

Simple to use.

I have had ‘Brian' for a few months now. It is my first tripod and wanted something that was compact and light enough to travel with. After months of researching different options, I kept coming back to ‘Brian'. I have to say I am really pleased with it. It is so easy to use.

An awesome lightweight tripod

I purchased this set in 2021 for use with a Pentax K1000 and Olympus EM-5 cameras and have used it everywhere from the Rocky Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean. It's easy to setup and use and an amazing system

Great travel tripod

Lives in my car, daypack or suitcase. Wonderful working heigh. I added a Airhead Pro and it holds a clunky D850 with a heavy 70-200 lens

Great for the Great Outdoors

I love that Brian can keep up with me on trails and treacherous terrain without weighing me down. Heavy birding lenses feel safe and steady with Brian, yet setup and breakdown is quick and easy. I wish I had met Brian sooner - he could have saved me some grief over breakups with lesser tripods.

Great Value

I have tried several different tripods and this by far the best I have ever used. It is actually fun to use and not just added weight. In the best past it was also an internal debate on whether to bring a tripod or not. Now it is just an everyday inclusion when I go out for some photography

Great tripod…..

I went for Brian for the extra reach it provides just in case I needed it. On it's first outing I did and while fully extended I still had a solid platform to shoot long exposure images with. Brian is light and folds to a very small manageable size.
I am very pleased with this tripod!

Excellent

Great for all surfaces as different feet can be bought to use in different surfaces. Sturdy, easy to use, great tripod. Can be changed into a monopod by removing a leg from the tripod. Easy to swap between different heads and easy to set up and pack away

K
Kerry
Excellent tripod

I bought this as an upgrade from the travel tripod which I got free with a camera. That wasn't a bad tripod, but I got a new camera which is heavier and the ball head didn't lock very well so it was hard to aim for anything.
Brian is excellent - really quick to extend, looks wicked, and holds my camera rock steady.
I've not needed to do too much stripping down yet but I did remove the bottom sections after a session on the beach, and it couldn't have been easier.
All in all I couldn't be happier with my tripod, and it feels like something that I won't need to replace or upgrade for many years.

Super Fast Delivery

I love my new tripod and it's name.
It shipped from England on Monday, 8/22/2022 and I had it by lunch on Wednesday 8/24/2022 in Georgia. It is much lighter than I anticipated and I love it so far!!!

Great design and functionality

I've been a professional photographer since 1984 and have used many different brands and models of tripods. I've used Gibralter. Giant, Quick Set. Bogen, Gitzo, Manfrotto. Hercules. The PUNKS Brian 2.0 is the most innovative and best engineered tripod I have ever used. I bought it for a travel trip I have coming up soon and I can't wait to put it through its paces! Way to go 3 Legged thing! I am your newest fan!
