The QR4 Release Plate is designed for ultimate functionality and is compatible with standard 38mm Arca Swiss compatible bases. This plate sits tight to your camera without any movement or drift with the help of the Leonard rubber pad. With a milled stainless steel camera screw, the QR4 is secure and strong.

I bought the extra plates to attach not only to the camera body but also to the 400mm lens. This helps in easily switching the tripod from the 400mm lens to the camera body with light weight lens options.

Spare is always needed

Arca Swiss system makes most sense when all bodies, tripod collars, rails, etc. have their dedicated plate. The small foot print of QR4 makes it versatile. It would be perfect if the dovetail groove would be on all sides, so it could be used bidirectionally.
