Description

XP70 Base is a multi-function quick release plate compatible with any camera with a standard ¼”-20 camera screw thread.

Built from lightweight yet robust aerospace-grade magnesium alloy, the XP70 Base features a standard 38mm / 1.5” Arca-Swiss profile, making it compatible with the majority of Arca-compatible tripods and clamps, including those from 3 Legged Thing.

The plate also features 3 Legged Thing’s Patented XPAND connector enabling it to be joined to the range of XPAND connectors, cheese plates and risers. XPAND is a versatile, modular system that enables content creators to build custom camera rigs. The connector can also be extended from the base for added versatility.

The XP70 Base features a sloped rear edge for easier access to rear flip screens. It includes two camera screw slots to allow optimal positioning, and access to battery doors on most cameras. Rubberised pads on the base ensure a secure connection, while the stainless steel ¼”-20 camera screw attaches the plate firmly to the camera.
